The sixth annual Nordic Summer Institute in Labor Economics will take place in Torshavn, Faroe Islands, June 7-9, 2011.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity for the best labor scholars in the Nordic countries to get together and to discuss their work. The meeting will contain both contributed and invited papers. The invited speaker this year is Professor Douglas Almond, Columbia University.

The conference will be funded by Uppsala Center for Labor Studies (UCLS) and organized by Per-Anders Edin, Peter Fredriksson and Juanna Joensen.
